Overview
A senior-led, best-efforts practice.
Liberty Associates, Inc.'s investment banking practice serves issuers from emerging growth through middle-market and listed companies, as well as the qualified institutional investors who fund them. We operate on a best-efforts placement and finder model — Liberty does not take principal underwriting risk, and we do not hold customer funds or securities.
Our practice is built around the senior leadership of David Alexander Diaz, Executive Director of Capital Markets and Investment Banking, and Paul R. McMenamin, Senior Counsel for Compliance, Capital Markets, and Investment Banking — supported by Allison M. Lindh and Melissa J. Keller on the operational and compliance side.

Method
How we deliver it.
Tailored mandates
Every engagement is scoped to the specific transaction or relationship. We do not run broad books — we run focused processes for issuers and counterparties we understand.
Senior-led execution
Liberty's senior team is directly involved in every transaction. Issuers work with the principals from origination through closing — not with a rotating cast of analysts.
Compliance at every gate
Every investor-facing communication is reviewed under FINRA Rule 2210 before distribution. Allocation, suitability, and conflicts are documented and supervised at the principal level.
Network-enabled distribution
Liberty maintains active commission-sharing and revenue-sharing relationships with established broker-dealers — extending our distribution reach without compromising our supervisory standards.
